The drop: Fun and support for children with diabetes!

Dropinn is an association for children with diabetes and their families in Iceland. We believe that diabetes should not stop anyone from having fun and living their best life. That's why we organize events and summer camps where children with diabetes can meet, learn and have fun together. We also represent the issues of children with diabetes by directing our opinion to the government about better diabetes services and education in Iceland. Join us today and become part of the Dropinn family!

About the Drop: Who we are and what we do

Dropinn is a volunteer activity in Iceland that supports children with diabetes and their families. Dropinn was founded in 1995 and has provided practical and emotional support to children with diabetes for over two decades. We know how challenging living with diabetes can be, especially for young people. That's why we offer a range of events and summer camps where children can meet other kids who share their experiences, learn to manage their condition and enjoy exciting activities and adventures.

.

Our events and summer camps are not only fun but also educational. We help children develop a positive attitude and confidence in dealing with diabetes. We also teach them about healthy eating, exercise and self-care. Our events and summer camps are supervised by qualified staff and health professionals who ensure the safety and well-being of the children. They also plan meals and snacks to suit individual needs. Our events and summer camps are open to all children with diabetes and their families in Iceland, regardless of age, gender or background. We welcome new members and encourage them to join our friendly and supportive community.
